HCS is called Haryana Civil Services, which is a statelevel civil services examination conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC). The HCS exam is conducted for the recruitment for the state of Haryana, various administrative and police services as fallows :

Haryana Civil Service (Executive Branch)

Deputy Superintendent of Police (D.S.P.)

Excise and Taxation Officer

District Food and Supplies Controller

A Class Tehsildar

Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies

Assistant Excise & Taxation Officer

Block Development & Panchayat Officer

The HCS exam is conducted in three stages:

Preliminary Written Exam (200 Marks)

Mains Written Exam (600 Marks)

Personality Test/ Interview (75 Marks)
